Hm, too bad: I would have preferred #1, I think but having printed both of them on photopaper I think the safe bet is also a nice one. :)Gesahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15808430595430298345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2998420814250658360.post-20051645623546525882008-05-02T19:07:00.000+01:002008-05-02T19:07:00.000+01:00Congrats!! On the other hand, if you want to draw in every possible buyer, I'd recommend the last one. What a tough decision! And thank you for including us. Wish I could see all your work up close :)Artists With Artitudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10440267930351802396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2998420814250658360.post-21934983370198747962008-05-01T09:12:00.000+01:002008-05-01T09:12:00.000+01:00Many thanks, Maggie! I like that one too - it started as some abstract marks to turn into something (a bit) more representational.Gesahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15808430595430298345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2998420814250658360.post-92133722785625623282008-04-28T21:05:00.000+01:002008-04-28T21:05:00.000+01:00I enjoy the versitility of your brush strokes and ...I enjoy the versitility of your brush strokes and the emotion that you leave in each image. Hm, most of what I'll show will be semi- to abstract landscapes plus the pretty wintery, flowy oil landscapes. The whole exhibition will be a group effort with all in all 8-10 people (of wich about half will show more than one piece); mine will be the only mixed-media, collagey and abstract landscape ones. The group that is exhibiting is a very diverse - but very interestingly diverse one - that was in part why i prefer something more experimental as in no 1 (but probably also because that is the stuff that excites me most personally); but then again, no 3 will give more of a view of what my work is currently about...
I think I'll let this cook for a wee while longer, print them out on photopaper etc...
Thanks so much again to all of you!Gesahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15808430595430298345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2998420814250658360.post-49276526455856221302008-04-27T11:11:00.000+01:002008-04-27T11:11:00.000+01:00I like the top pink one and the bottom yellow ochr...I like the top pink one and the bottom yellow ochre ones best. I think I'm drawn towards the abstract rather than the figurative at the moment. Which would best represent the exhibition in question though?Yellowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05975849028363084985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2998420814250658360.post-58977843037103467452008-04-27T08:07:00.000+01:002008-04-27T08:07:00.000+01:00I find the first one the most striking, and then t...I find the first one the most striking, and then the 3rd.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05779579054897917982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2998420814250658360.post-17070630188512367952008-04-26T17:27:00.000+01:002008-04-26T17:27:00.000+01:00If you will be showing a coherent group, which is ...If you will be showing a coherent group, which is (mostly) all landscapes, I would choose #3.
