Local landscapes in monoprint

These are so local so known and yet so distant in time and place.

So: what is it we see in reflection?

These are full of wonderful energy. I like the moodiness of the third one a lot.

Great studies in mono prints and also love the pastel drawing post.

I will rub in the fact that I get to see your Pastel 100 image before you do...it looks fantastic on page #75 - for some reason the print version holds up favorably against the CRT version. Bravo!

Casey - yes, I realised that the issue should be already delivered across the US. And it looks good? Can't wait to get my 3 copies :)
Yes - the jpg for the journal was fixed for saturation (and the image on flickr wasn't). But I've now fixed the flickr image - if you want to use the latest copy - that should give you a bit more colour saturation.

Jala - the last one was the difficult one to make it work - because of the three layers it's the most abstract one, but the oil paint works wonders.

Thanks :)

oh please, anonymous, why don't you let us see yours then?

Gesa. I am sorry my comment was cowardly and downright nasty, and I really regret using the internets ability to be just rude.

You can see my work if you wish at andyh.net - but please don't waste your time on it as i think you owe me nothing.

best
