This week's plan 1

... I've been looking forward to this for a while - since I stumbled into Tina Mammoser's explorations of lines for some of her coastal landscapes.

So, London for the rest of the week, and I'm sure I can sneak away from work for some of this:

... well, from today's location to tomorrow's...

I can see a connection betweesn twombly and your cornfield, (which I like,by the way)just think of log rows of corn with paint dribbling from them?.......!

I like Cy Twombly too! I've been out of the loop lately oweing to the launch of a new project...but I'm back now!! Nice to read through your feild experiments and your color play. I like how the soft pastels look in a mole too!

That's a good suggestion: the corn fields and dribbling paint. I didn't know Twombly much before, I loved the exhibition: so much so that I bought the catalogue... now just need to write up some thoughts on that.
Thank you, Lindsay - and great to see the Waterways on the wall. Yes: soft pastels and moley go well... would be fun to do a study of successive development of smudge while being carried around, though ;)
