No more waiting on the sea....
Here's a splash... throw some stones across a still lake, watch some leaves float along a stream, wade in the sea at low tide or get soaked in a rainshower (wait: no, definitely too cold for that in December).
Water does so many things...
So, we thought we'd do something with our fascination, curiosity and interest in the marks that water makes.
Watermarks is our new joint project, bringing together 9 artists from across the UK, France and North America. Vivien, Lindsay and Katherine have got this idea going and I am very excited about being part of it.

I've been there and bookmarked it already. It looks like it will be a fascinating journey. I am excited for you, and about having the chance to follow you all.
Hello Cath and welcome. Many thanks for the responses on the horizon line post. Yes, I'm glad the watermarks project is getting off with a great start and I'm very much looking forward to it.
Having been raised by the Mediterranean sea, I miss it so (living in Texas now)... Thank you for bringing the Big blue into my living room :)
Neda - you are very welcome! My longing for the sea is one at a distance and with little 'experience' of ever having been close for any length of time...
So, much of my seascapes are about making sense of that tension... if that makes sense :)
